Jointly composed by Beijing Fangdi Institute of Economic Development and Zhongguancun Institute of Innovation and Development, Zhongguancun Index 2024 aims to comprehensively depict new characteristics and trends of innovation development in Zhongguancun Demonstration Zone. It serves as a barometer and weather vane for the development of high-tech zones and industries in China, and has been made public for 13 consecutive years. This index system reflects the overall steady progress of the Zhongguancun Demonstration Zone and its results indicate Zhongguancun’s stable growth, innovative upgrading, optimized structure and new driving forces, all these further highlighting its role as a key player in supporting Beijing to become an international sci-tech innovation hub.
